New Spring Art Sketches!

Writer: Brittany ColeBrittany Cole

What’s On My Easel # 7

How are you this week? I’ve somehow managed to get a lot done, even though life has been beyond hectic. I didn’t get to paint much since my family has been visiting the last couple weeks. However, since I do my art planning on my iPad on the couch, I was able to get a lot of ideas down while still spending time with the fam. I’m really thrilled to share my Spring painting designs with you today!

SPRING ART SKETCHES!

I’m so excited to paint fluffy little animals and use all the lovely, vibrant colors of springtime! I adore my nighttime skies that I’ve been making lately but they are starting to feel like I am stuck in a rut. Time to make something different.

I think he is going to make a great St. Patty’s day Garden flag. There will be some flowers and bushes and such around him. I just didn’t bother to draw them.

Springtime Sasquatch

I’m really excited to paint this one. I love my Sasquatch art! What can I say? I have an incredibly unique muse. 😂😍

I’m going to put some spring flowers and such around this little guy. I’m not sure what color I should make him or the egg though.

I plan to add cherry blossoms and some other springtime flowers to this one. Maybe add a bunny or two? Again, not sure what color to make the door. I already have blue, green and yellow door paintings so it probably won’t be those colors.

Sketch vs. Finished Art

It’s always hilarious to me how terrible my sketches are. Especially my Sasquatch sketches. They are the WORST! The paintings come out awesome though, IMHO, so I guess I need to trust my process lol

Thanks for stopping by. Hopefully we will see the Spring flowers poking through the dirt soon. I really can’t wait to see something growing.

Comment below if there is anything you would like me to add to the Spring art collection or if you have feedback on my pieces above. You can also contact me here.
